The resort is located in the historic town of Port Isabel, Texas, on The Lower Laguna Madre Bay and is the southernmost channel of the U.S. Intracoastal Waterway.  We're just minutes across the Queen Isabella Causeway from the sandy beaches and warm, emerald-blue waters of South Padre Island & The Gulf of America where you can experience "world-class" bay, near-shore and offshore fishing, or simply enjoy beach activities, all in a day!

Situated on the resort's open southside shoreline with a 38' watercraft dock, Casa Sand Dollar features unobstructed views of the surrounds, including the undeveloped wetlands full of all kinds of wildlife.  And on occassion, you will witness the  spectacular SpaceX rocket launches from Starbase, Texas, one of the newest cities in America where space missions will take mankind to Mars and beyond!
